VO2 Health Focus is committed to maintaining the health, safety, and accessibility of all learners in our courses. While most individuals should not experience health issues during a First Aid/CPR course, some may find the physical activities strenuous.
If you have any of the following conditions, we recommend consulting your physician and obtaining medical clearance before participating in physical skill demonstrations:
- History of heart attack or other heart conditions
- Respiratory issues
- Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy
The course includes physical activities such as:
- Kneeling, lying on the floor, performing chest compressions on manikins
- Partner work for choking response techniques
- Bandaging and splinting
If you are unsure whether you should participate in any aspect of the course involving physical activity, please speak with your physician in advance, and notify your instructor before the course begins.
Refund Policy
At VO2 Health Focus, we are committed to providing excellent customer service. Please review our refund policy carefully:
- In-Person Courses: All in-person courses are non-refundable. Participants may reschedule to an alternative date with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to their originally scheduled session. A $15.00 administrative fee applies to all rescheduling requests. If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the course is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Blended Learning Courses: All blended learning courses are non-refundable.
- Instructor Development Courses: Refunds will not be issued for Instructor Development Courses unless the course is cancelled or postponed by VO2 Health Focus. These courses cannot be rescheduled, even with 48 hours’ notice. All course requirements must be completed through VO2 Health Focus and cannot be transferred to another training provider.
